A perfect way to get the kids involved and physically active in the Siesta Key community! The Kid Fun Run is back through the months of June and July, every Tuesday from June 6th to July 25th. Every little one gets a participation ribbon and after completing 4 runs, they get a limited edition t-shirt! Weekly registration begins at 5:30PM and the run starts at 6:30PM. Let the race begin!
Ringling Bros Opening Night Performance & Celebration

Do you want to be wowed with a jaw-dropping, fantastical circus show? Introducing The Summer Circus Spectacular, an incredible collaboration between the brilliant minds of the Ringling Bros and The Circus Arts Conservatory of Sarasota. Join us for opening night on June 14th for a once-in-a-lifetime performance accompanied by complimentary Hors D’oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks!
In addition to experiencing a larger-than-life circus, your opening night ticket will be capped off with an 8:00PM gala reception where you can meet the extraordinary artists. Meet Uranbileg Angarag, a professional contortionist, who has traveled the world for the last 23 years with her spectacular act. Or meet the Bello sisters, an acrobatic trio of sisters who have been featured on America’s Got Talent twice for their dazzling act.

Van Wezel Friday Fest
Van Wezel’s Friday Fest is back! Bring out the lawn chairs, lay out your blankets, and enjoy one of the hottest rock ‘n roll acts in Southwest Florida. Featuring Kettle of Fish, a rock and roll act that has performed with the likes of Eddie Money, Marshall Tucker, and Elvin Bishop, winning over audiences with their electrifying fusion of blues, soul, and funk.
Taking place “rain or shine”, Van Wezel’s Friday Fest will be supported by local vendors, providing delicious, fresh food and beverages. All of the different flavors and cuisines will leave you wanting to try a little bit of everything! So, sit back, relax, and enjoy Friday Fest every Friday this June from 5PM - 9PM on June 9th.

Summer Movie Nights at CoolToday Park
Summer Movie Nights are the hit of the summer! Returning to CoolToday Park this 2024, Summer Movie Nights will be screening some of the largest BlockBusters to ever hit the big screen, including Mission Impossible on June 16th, Barbie on June 23rd and Back To The Future on June 30th.
The movies will be shown right on the scoreboard beginning at 5:00 PM. Tickets will be $7 for anyone over 10 years old, $3 for ages 4 through 9, and free for all 3 and under. Parking is free, and vendors will provide delicious movie-showing food and snacks from inside the ballpark. No need to bring any outside chairs, seating will be provided inside in the seating bowl.

Bishop Science Laser Night Lights
Laser Light Nights are back at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature! Break out the Big hair and tie-dyed shirts, and get ready to boogie to some of the biggest hits from your favorite artists in the Planetarium. Featuring ground-breaking artists such as Outkast, No Doubt, Beastie Boys, Aerosmith, KISS, and many more! Taking place every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night through August 31, you can enjoy rocking out to your favorite artist accompanied by flashing lasers - electrifying the dance floor with LED color.
Food and drink options will be available for purchase on-site. Shows will start at 7PM and 9PM. Note that Laser Light nights may not be suitable for people with sensitivities to bright, flashing lights.

Bradenton Boat Show
The Bradenton Boat Show is finally back this 2024! Check out a huge selection of new boats, boating accessories, fishing gear, and more from all of the top brands! Attendees at the Bradenton Boat Show are welcome to participate in any of the handful of classes that will be held each day. Including “Fundamentals of Inshore Fishing Using Live Bait” with Captain Rachel Cato, “Inshore Fishing Using Artificial Lures” with Captain Jeremy Heimes, and “Secrets and Strategies to Catching More Fish” with Captain Rachel Cato.
