Amenities

tropical-beach-mapTropical Beach Resort is equal distance from the north and south ends of Siesta Key, and each end has its own distinct attractions. The south tip offers a more laid-back lifestyle, with kayak and motorboat rentals available. Navigating and exploring the natural wonders of Little Sarasota Bay is a memorable experience for all visitors. Families can grab a quick meal at Midnight Pass Marina or Turtles and, for serious gourmets, nothing beats an evening of fine dining bayside at Ophelia’s, which even has dockside moorings. The north end of Siesta Key has the always-spirited and very popular Siesta Village, where visitors can choose among a variety of casual and fine dining restaurants. Music, dancing, DJ’s, and live entertainment are offered in many restaurants and bars in the village, and the Beach Club is open until 2:00 AM every day.

For those who prefer all their comforts within reach, we have an extensive variety of choices. Amenities include our swimming pools, shuffle board courts and barbeque grills. You can explore the gulf by renting a paddle boat or going on a kayak tour. An excellent way to meet people is to join in a friendly game of beach volleyball.

If you’re lucky enough to be here on a Sunday at sunset, you can join the crowds at the Drum Circle on Siesta Beach. Dance, drum or just enjoy listening to the heated rhythms participants pound out while the sun slips into the Gulf. It’s our way of expressing thanks as we bid farewell to another beautiful day in paradise.
